I'll take the risk of security screws, Locking nuts on alloy wheels has stopped them stealing wheels. The RLD spare wheel protector has stopped them stealing spare wheels. (if you have one fitted that is) They now fit security screws on number plates and that stops then nicking your number plates. So i think they will get the message and just move on. Prevention is better than a cure. (usually) If we do nothing, then they are onto a winner.

As a last resort you could all move to Scotland

I can't say I have heard of any parts being nicked off cars up here, whole cars yes, but they usually end up burnt out in some back road!

Can't put my finger on why, but if I were to have a guess, I recon the RRS is still out of reach of younger guys who are more likely to buy rear lights/cheap wheels and tyres down the pub (also probably 10 times more sports down south than up here)

Woke up this morning to the lovely sight of 2 large gaping holes in the rear of my RRS 2010. Some scum low life had stolen the rear light clusters during the night. I wondered how they could do this without opening the tailgate but it seems its all too easy. From searching the net this seems to be a very common problem. Fit security screws and install land mines. Expensive to replace. Don't feed the scum by buying used "new" lights on e bay.
