I take it the wheels weren't that cheap?

I've seen people trying to get 2nd hand for them than getting a new set.

I'm debating going 20" and new, just because they're easier to get, cheaper and there is deals on the bay for genuine sets.
I couldn't get hold of Stuart, but heard they stopped making the 22" version.

OF were doing deals on 20" wheels with tyres (£1,250 IIRC), although I can't remember if SuperSports were part of it.
Definitly worth persisting and trying to get in touch with the guys at OF Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

There's no deal as such on 22" supersports as I've just had a lengthy chat with a young lad at OFinch, however 20" with tyres are availible just over £1400 plus delivery.
So I'm sort of weighing up 20" or 22" , cheaper and more comfortable ride with 20", but do the 22" justify the vast difference in cost?

Your views here would be gratefully received.

Personally, I'd go for 20"s.

Far to many people on here have had issues with cracking and warping of 22" alloys - genuine ones too.

I think the RRS is just too heavy and our roads in too poorer condition to make the 22" a viable choice. I know others will say they are running them fine without any problems, but for me, I'd not risk it. The 20"s fill the arches nicely and still allow you to fit winter/mud tyres to keep you mobile at all times, Something else to consider when weighing up 22's Smile ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Agreed, i just have to accept im taking off my previously installed 22" and refitting with 20" ,albeit a far nicer alloy design.

I'd say 22's Rolling with laughter

20's seem to get lost to me but I've always fitted the biggest wheel possible to my cars. As I always say adjust your driving to the condition. You can't just hit every pot hole in sight, bump up curbs and try a bit of green laning then be disappointed.

Have you never followed some one with big alloys? They look like they are drunk but just trying to avoid pot holes Thumbs Up

The Olympus is the best design IMO.
