I've used my BVue DR 300 for 2 years now but having downloaded new software to a new fully formatted SD card all I get is "check the SD card" message.Also got this on the old card which was formatted again and again and updated with software so I am thinking the unit is kaput.
Any one out there willing to check out my SD cards in their DR300?
The old SD card did play back on laptop to the point of stoppage and the "check...." Message came.
If not do I just junk the lot and buy something else

Did you backup your SD card to a computer?

Can you check the files on the SD card with a computer?

Put the SD card in the camera and leave it turned on for a few minutes.

If these all fail and you want to send me your SD card I'll check your files against the ones on my SD. I wont risk putting in my Blackvue - just in case !!

Not sure is the files between the 300 and 500 cameras are different - another member might know.

Happy to receive your SD card and try that method or email you the files for you to copy across to save time (t'would be tomorrow).

Are you formatting it with the recommended blackvue formatting program

Do you have a micro SD card to full size adapter ? If so format it try the card in a camera to test the card
