2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Buckingham Blue
Removing Drivers Seat RRS 2.7 (06)

I would like to replace the vinyl side panel on the drivers seat as it has a few unsightly cracks in it. I have been given a quote of £60-£80 to have the panel repleaced but the upholsterer wants the seat taken out. Can anyone describe how to do it or is it just a step too far for someone with no experience of taking cars apart?

If the seat is same design as Disco 3 then it is said to be just 4 Allen bolts holding the seat base on and you can just remove it that way but remember the connections for e.g. seat heaters.
