I have one on my car and someone said they are detachable. If we are talking about the same thing, i'll whip it off for seventy five notes. I am not likely to use it. |

Jim if you don't get sorted, I have one at £60.00, the retaining pin has seized in place and I don't have the patience to try and fix it, I have a new lock and key for it, Im in Swindon About to get into a sport |

Hi Jim think it sounds easy to do although as I didn't need to use the hitch in the end I never bothered going any further with it - link on the forum for the method (great forum this )

Mine also appears seized and may have a key snapped off in it, so I guess its going to be a permanent fixture. |

Might be just me being a bit fussy but I really wouldn't buy/use a second hand tow bar. Bit like buying a used crash helmet. Probably going to get shot down here, just my opinion, that's all. MY 09TDV8 |
