2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black
My new 2010 RRS

Hi Guys,

After owning a 2005 supercharged a couple of years ago (and being a member on here) and missing it ever since i sold it, i just purchased a 2010 3.0TDV6 HSE from a Land rover dealer. I have to say im very impressed with the diesel, i wanted the supercharged but couldnt go through 8-10mpg around london again Confused

I have a couple of questions,

I get a knocking noise on small bumps and holes in the road - i guess this is not normal.. i remember a thread about this on the old model. Do any of you guys with a newish sport get this? car only has 28k.
Its under warranty anyway...

Bi Xenons - were these standard on the HSE? the car advert said it had them but they just dont look very xenon like...

Any of your thoughts on the above will be appreciated.

thanks

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Lux Orkney Grey

Knocking is probably anti-roll bar bushes but can be lower arms - get dealer to change.

HSE has Bi Xenons

2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

Hi Gareth,

Im finding it great, its good on diesel - well its the most economical car i have ever had and anything seems good after 8mpg of the supercharged!
The 3.0 diesel is fine at lower speeds, i do find acceleration a little lacking after 60 mph but again coming from a supercharged and only ever owning petrol cars previously its bound to be different.

Im defo pleased i got the diesel though as i was considering the supercharged again.

Most of my other costs are covered by Land rover warranty so i cant really help you there.

Just make sure the bushes are not worn on any you look at. Listen out for a knocking noise on small bumps etc (see my post above)

Good luck with your search!
