O2 Arena London

Looking for opinion ideally from experience but all taken,

Planning an O2 visit, first time.

Is a C1 seat preferable to a 105 block seat as it is closer (but towards the rear of the level area) or is the 105 block seat preferable as it is elevated (but further away) Confused

Thumbs Up

I stay just along the river from the 02 and attend concerts every couple of months, I have never sat in the seats you mentioned as I have access to one of the V.I.P boxes (nothing fancy, Greenwich council box and only get access as I'm a resident who lives in the local area).

This link to the 02 seating review is quite good.

Other tips I would give are.

1. You will probably end up standing anyway if it's a concert.
2. If your travelling to Central London to make a weekend of it and then travelling to the 02, get the Thames Clipper. Much better that the Jubilee Line and they sell beer & wine on board. You also get to see London from the river, it realy is the best way to travel there. If your driving I think it's £20/£25 to park at the o2 on EVENT night.
3. If your going for the "o2 experience" then by all means eat and drink in the 02, it's expensive but if it's a treat then why not. If you prefer something where you don't feel like you are being ripped off and like some real ales then the below pub is about 5 minutes walk (they tried to knock down this pub when they built the dome but they held out, subsequently the developers of the dome surrounded it with tress so no one would know it was there)

If you need any more info let me know.

Cheers

Many thanks - much appreciated, I'll have a read.

It was really about the view from those zones, down to current availability. Facing the stage, left rear of the flat area, or, behind that section (so further away) but elevated. Trading distance for altitude for best view.

I had heard the clipper was a good option.

Much appreciate your detailed response Thumbs Up
