For anyone who missed out on the group buy, I have purchased another batch. They did cost slightly more than the price in the GB thread, as they have come from a different seller, however, they are exactly the same timer.

These will come as a timer only, the power cable, and red FBH wire (if needed) can be purchased through the forum shop

The timers are priced at £50 + £4 post, to keep them as close to the Group Buy price as possible
The power cable is £2.69, and FBH wire is £1.20, available from the forum shop

Is it possible to switch it off when not needed?

Reason i ask is because i rarely drive the RRS on the weekend, so it would be ideal having it switched off on those days. 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography

Would love to tell you how it works, but I got mine 4 weeks ago, and still have not had time to fit it yet

Worst case, I imagine you can put in a switch on the wire to the FBH, to effectively disconnect it when not needed

think you should be able to clear the preset on time the last day you use your car (Friday ? )

you would then have to remember to set the time again on sunday for it to come on again on Monday morning....

although think it may have option to "instant on" so you would just have to go out Monday morning 1/2 before you want to set off...

To be able to do this, you have to disable the FBH from the MS CAN BUS system.

The FBH will not fire from the Webasto, if the car is "awake", hence the need to unpin the CAN BUS wiring. Does not affect the car in any way, other than the FBH does not run automatically. It will only run when controlled by the timer.
