Warning Message

Hello All,

This is my first post, hope to find solution Smile

Am getting spacious warning messages in my dash board saying:-

- HDC not available.
- Parking brakes fault.
- Stability control not available.
- Emergency brake assist not available.
- Transmission fault.

All those warning messages comes all together.

I tool it to the dealer and after couple of back and fourth, they changed the computer model. After couple of months it came back again. I took it to the dealer again and they changed the brake sensor ... But it still coming.

The problem is that those messages come randomly !!

Anyone can help ?

Sometimes a poorly charged battery can cause these. Is the battery well charged?

Hii,

Had the same fault with my 3.6 HST and had the same symptons. Turned engine off and restarted but noticed as soon as I touched brake warning lights would come on like an Xmas tree!!!!!!!!!! Took to delership who confirmed that this was a common fault and was down to a faulty plunger device at back of brake pedal. Once confirmed only a 5 min job to replace even by a novice!!!!!Hope this helps!!!

Hi

I have been experiencing the very same errors for the last two weeks. Today I took the car to my local Kwikfit and asked them to check the battery and alternator charge/ condition. The meter reading came back as both units being good, however the battery was showing as only 50% charged which was strange.
I asked them to change the battery for a new heavy duty version to see if this sorted the multiple faults, guess what...... No more faults at all !!

The car has returned to running like a train and simply changing the battery has made a huge difference.
Maybe something for you to bear in mind if your still having issues, I really thought I was in for a huge bill at the garage to get all these faults diagnosed and repaired, now after replacing the battery all is good again.
