I understad it costs £1940 if the dealer fits the Electric deployable towbar however, if you order it as a factory option, it costs £950 including VAT. BTW Premium Carpet mats are a £65 factory option however, they are considerably more if you order these via the dealer. thanks chaps that is really good to know. My dealer is not very clued up about this. His idea for pricing is to look at the configurator. Is there a proper LR options list and price list available anywhere?

Your dealer just need to look on his computer system which lists the factory options and prices. Thats how I found out about the premium Mat price.

Just to finish the thread, all ends well with the factory fit option selected for £950 and the on-line system giving prices! Just one last thought, doe the towbar fittment come with the electrics or do they have to be specified separately? |

I think circa £1,000 is a fair price. I specced an electric tow bar on my 5 series and having seen it in action, I think it was well worth it. BMW charged me £880 (less a bit of dealer discount) so I think the price you've paid is fair ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

They want $2600 (£1450) down here in Aus. But hey, we are now one of the most expensive countries in the world due to not being affected too much by the global financial crisis. The market here is JLR's most profitable.
