Has anyone replaced the rear number plate bulbs to LED on a 2010+ RRS?

Take it a straight swap will throw up bulb out warnings?

Just followed the Mrs home in ours and it really needs LED's to brighten up the rear. TDV8 RRS HST in Java - Gone

Yes ive replaced mine as soon as it came out of the showroom. 2012 plate SDV6 HSE. Also replaced all the interior bulbs too.

Straight swap to LED bulbs or did you need the resistors etc?

Any links to decent ones you have?

Its that long ago i can't remember where i got them from, no resistors required just canbus type bulbs or was it none canbus? To stop faults showing up on the dash. Like i said it was that long ago i can't remember Ive never had a problem with them though.

Yep you need CANBUS or error free LED type bulbs. One of mine needs replacing after having been fitted a year ago. 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography

no errors, if they dont work the first time just put them in the other way round.
very bright white and puts the standard bulbs to shame!
got another set and did the front side lights and door puddle lights too
