Folding mirrors

Hi guys

New to here and to the Range Rover.

I have just picked up a 2013 Range Rover Sport HSE black done 2500 miles. Amazing car.

Just a quickly when you lock the car the mirrors automatically fold in but the touch the windows, is this normal?

Cheers

Yep that's normal. Just don't fold mirrors in then try and close the window! Thumbs Up 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Mine never did that, there was a gap of about 2-3mm between the mirror casing and the window Confused ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

On mine, as Bc says, a very small gap between mirror and window, albeit gap is larger on passenger side

Thanks for all your replies. The mirror is very close to the window, when folding in it makes a sound like its hit the window. I'm just going to check it again. I was concerned by the slight bang it made.

Thanks again

Ah, I know what you mean, mine DID do that, but I think it was just the motor hitting the limit of the folding mechanism. Put it this way, if it's touching, I'd get it sorted, but if there is a (very) small gap and its just a mechanical bang, then it's fine Smile ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
