Yep that's normal. Just don't fold mirrors in then try and close the window! 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

On mine, as Bc says, a very small gap between mirror and window, albeit gap is larger on passenger side |

Thanks for all your replies. The mirror is very close to the window, when folding in it makes a sound like its hit the window. I'm just going to check it again. I was concerned by the slight bang it made.

Ah, I know what you mean, mine DID do that, but I think it was just the motor hitting the limit of the folding mechanism. Put it this way, if it's touching, I'd get it sorted, but if there is a (very) small gap and its just a mechanical bang, then it's fine ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
