Rear diff

Changed the oil in noisy rear diff old stuff was very brown and only a bit of stuff on the drain plug magnet, still fairly noisy so think will need replacing, I would normally go for new but there are 2 sports in local breakers ones a 2009 2.7 with 38k and a 2008 with 44k the diffs are available very cheap but want to know if they will fit my 2006 4.4, are all diffs the same?

New Zealand 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Santorini Black

Hi

I think you are unlucky just had a quick look through Microcat and 2.7 3.6 and 4.2 all appear to be same however 4.4 has 4 different variants depending on chassis number and locking or non-locking diff.

Probably best to check with dealer though to be sure.

Cheers
Col
