Picked my new sport up yesterday, and was trying to work out why the courtesy light doesn't come on when you open the door. Having checked the fuse, I thought I would check the bulbs, only to find they are not there...

Could someone tell me what sort they are so I can reinstate them? A reference, or wattage would be cool...

I've just converted all mine to LEDs so my originals are just sitting in the ashtray. If you pm me your address I'll stick them in the post for you

Watch out. The bulbs may have been removed for a reason; e.g. maybe they were causing a battery drain. Hopefully the previous owner just wanted to keep his LEDs but I've been caught out once with missing reversing light bulbs. They'd been removed because the gearbox switch was faulty. Luckily fixed under warranty. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Prefect excuse to put LED ones in as I have just done with all the bulbs.
Depending on how the last owner had it set you may still need to set it up so the lights to come on when the door is open. Just hold down the middle button and it will flash a few times to confirm its set.
