Was meant to be picking up my MY06 TDV6 HSE from the dealers tomorrow....was really looking forward to driving my first RRS. Received a phone call this morning saying some of the things that needed doing to the car hadn't been done....Gutted....Expect it to be Thursday/Friday before I get my mitts on it.

Would rather a sorted car than numerous trips back and forth trying to get problems solved after they have the money and the fuel you will save on those return trips and a dealer monkey horsing your pride and joy about "testing it" I not a sceptic of dealers  2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈

Oh I am not annoyed that they are fixing the things that needed done....simple1. Just a tad miffed at the longer wait. They told us last week the car would be ready Saturday...now it's Thursday or Friday. Regardless they won't be getting the rest of their dosh until the car is tickety-boo.

Admire their honest! (unless the fu ed something else and are trying to fix that)

2014 Facelift Discovery

They were to put it through a mot as there was only a few months left on the one that was on it....they did some work to the rear brakes and were to replace some perished seals around rear window. They said they have changed the timing belts and still have the wheels to be refurbished, there is a small tear on the vinyl/leather? on the front passenger door, rather than repairing it they are trying to source a replacement part. So they are honest enough I guess, just a little slow sourcing parts.

Know the feeling! I'm still waiting for my first RRS which will hopefully be ready to collect on Wednesday
