Hi guys

I have a RRS TDV8 in for repair and the heated rear screen is staying on and draining the battery enough to be a no start in under 1 hour of being sat. Using the ammeter I traced the drain down to the FL17 (50A) fuse in engine bay which then led me to F13(25A) being the heated rear screen. I have pulled the fuse for now and the amp draw went from 17 odd amps down to .5 amps which I'm still not happy with but all the controllers may have not gone to sleep yet. I have looked through autodata and alot on google but I can't for the life of me find a wiring diagram on the heated rear screen or anything else related to that fuse. If anyone can provide a circuit diagram for the heated rear screen or can give any more info on this problem I would be grateful.

Does this help? It's from the D3 manual but the RRS and D3 are very similar in many things...

2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Thanks for that, I'll be having a look today. I'll have a look and see if autodata has wiring diagrams for the disco

Sounds like a stuck relay?
