Wales 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Baltic Blue
Flying Blind

Proud new owner of RRS SDV6 Autobiography but unfortunately the vehicle arrived with no owners handbook. The dealer is attempting to sort this out, ( amongst other niggles) but in the mean time can someone tell me where the CD multi changer lives? On my old D3 you fed 6 discs into the CD slot on the dash, I have tried this with the RR but the player will not accept them. I am obviously doing something wrong but have nothing to refer to. Also, how many books should come with the car, the old D3 had a separate book for all systems and it only just fitted in the glove box!! Any constructive Advice appreciated.

Your dealer should jolly well supply you with all the correct books which they can easily order from Land Rover. In the meantime you can access the owner's handbook on the Topic website here: http://topix.landrover.jlrext.com/topix/vehicle/lookupForm 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Hi G Man, they have done away with the CD multichanger and gone over to a Hard Disc Drive that can record your CDs and store them on the HDD. It takes about 20 mins to record each one but you only have to do it once. You also have the USB under the centre armrest lid that you can use to play audio/video from,

Gentlemen thank you for your replies, It is appreciated and with some long journeys ahead the Rubbish on the Radio would drive me mad...The car came with a duplicate service book which leads me to think that whole set of books has gone walk about...together with the spare key and remote control for the Pre - heater...loving it so far I have to say...don't understand why the display gives me information on a 10 disc multi changer ...

Hi I am only going by what the sales guy told me so might not be very accurate but.....
select Audio / Video, put CD in then select My Music and on the bottom right it says upload, this then records your CD , think you can do 10 in total. Sorry but that is as much as I can remember MY16 AUTOBIOGRAPHY Indus silver with some toys

Hi and welcome to the site. Thumbs Up If you bought your sport from a dealer then i would take it straight back and ask them to explain how all the gadgets work which they should of done in the first place. I also wouldn't be happy only having one key. Previous owner might decide to take it for a little ride one night when you are fast asleep. Whistle

Manuals are all on line that explain this (as listed above)

The CD rip is useful, but just use a USB stick with as much as you like on. Mike
