I managed to get the 90 day policy removed on my policy, as it was still currently under LR warranty. 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography Cool

If you still have some sort of warranty on the car and don't claim from WD while it is covered elsewhere then you can restart the WD policy free of charge. I took out a 2 year warranty with them while it was covered via the selling garage and had it restarted after 6 months. Had the policy for 18 months and got a refund of £400 when I changed to a later model Thumbs Up MY16 AUTOBIOGRAPHY Indus silver with some toys

They called me again today. There not budging on there £835.

The have waivers all parts contribution, so they will do 100% parts and 1 month extra cover.
But will not lower the premium.

Am I being had on here ? I really thought that would have dropped by now I've spoke to him 4 times for gods sake.

They have probably started reading this forum. Last year they lowered premium for me on the first or second call after I got an online quote. Parts prices have gone up (which is why LR Approved warranty premium also increased) so that could a reason.

I got LR's extended warranty on a similar age TDV8 (with 65k miles on it at renewal) for less than that. Actually, I paid a bit more than that because I opted to include LR Assistance with it. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

That's a good deal RRSTDV8 - I assume you need to have continuity of cover or would LR consider a warranty on mine now, subject to inspection etc. ?? FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

I think you can get cover but you'd need an inspection. Whether the cost of that takes the overall cost above your WD quote is the question.

Probably best to ring your local LR dealer. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I’ve just put in a claim with Warranty Direct with regards to gearbox issues.

The 4x4 specialist it’s currently in with here in Aberdeen have said the gearbox required to be replaced. Warranty Direct have now said that they want to take the car down to Bedfordshire to their own specialist and if I didn’t want to use them, then I would have to find my own one.

I’m not happy one bit with my car being taken down to Bedfordshire, how am I supposed to know where it has gone or what the garage is that it will be going too? I chose the 4x4 garage here because they have serviced it and have a very good reputation!!
