Seems that their standard MO from reading on here is to wait for them to call you back with their new discounted price which will be a fair bit lower ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Quoted me £935.00 for a 09 plate TDV8 with 26k on the clock, that's more than Land Rover's own Extended Warranty.

As said, wait for the call if you have time. I was quoted a similar price for performance and prestige last year which I was eventually able to bring down to around £600 with some additional cover thrown in on top of performance and prestige. I cancelled it and went with LR Approved a day or two later though. |

No cover for the first 90 days? Whilst I can understand why they do that ( to prevent you taking a policy out for a current issue to be fixed) I seems lik a cop out to me , do they add the year on later ? They should also defer taking the payment for the same 90 day period ... If not the LR warranty would be my choice...

Yes they do 2 levels of cover: "Approved" for cars upto 5 years old/75k miles and "Select" for upto 10 years old/100k miles. Select is cheaper but considerably lower cover and I personally would go WD/WW route rather than select. "Approved" is good though

Don't bother with the select warranty, a complete waste of money.

I might have to go with warranty wise as they cover from day 1.
