Apologies. The wheel with the tyre on has a crack on the inner rim witch looks like it been repaired with some kind of glue like aroldite, but the tyre is nearly brand new and is holding air. Two other wheels have a crack on inner rim one has been repaired with some kind of liquid metal and has I slight dent in the outer rim opposite the crack, I guess where it went down a pot hole. The remainder wheel is ok. Thought they may do if someone wants a spare or can be bothered to have em sorted. I was thinking £250. I will chuck em on eBay in a few days if no interest on here. |

To be honest, i would chuck them in a skip. i wouldn't want it on my conscience knowing i'd sold replica wheels to an innocent family knowing that they have had some dodgy repair at some point. Play safe and weigh them in. |

Hence why I said might do someone for a spare. Seems it makes no difference if there reps or genuine overfinch they all crack after a length of time. As I used this forum for a while when I owned my sport and used to see posts in wanted section for one wheel or two where the owner had had the miss fortune of cracking there's and trying to save cost by making up another set.

No offence, i see where you are coming from, but fitting a wheel with an unknown dodgy repair would concern me to the point i would rather buy a new wheel. But thats just me. Safety first is my priority. |
