Does it happen soon after starting - say within 5 mins ??? & does the temp needle rise pretty quick to operating temp ? 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

The EU4 engines were pretty guilty for fuel filter issues causing the same symptoms as you describe, only happening under hard acceleration. Cheap and easy place to start |

Fuel filter replaced and problem appears to be sorted and less black smoke “One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.”
