My dealer tells me according to the tracking system my car was built end of sept due for delivery 8 Oct which has come and gone TDV6 Luxor black roof HSE. After pushing the dealer he contacted Land Rover apparently I am on the priority list and there is some sort of shortage that no one can tell interestingly I have not ordered the pano roof. I have also been in touch with land lover customer relations which are clueless and can't get an answer out of their production teams and keep pointing me to the dealer!!! I was given another target date delivery of 18 Oct which has come and gone with no news very frustrating !!!!

It is frustrating indeed. There are a number of cars held in WIP (Work In Progress) due to a component shortage but dealers have been asked to proritise sold orders with the factory. All 5+2 seats were held for a short while but are now being distributed. Your dealer will be able to give you some information but only have limited info regarding cars in WIP.

Is your order with ourselves? It's not an engine/colour combination that I recognise as one of ours?

The two things which are holding mine up were pano roof, and heater switches.

emailed the CEO of JLR (Ralf Speth) this morning with my displeasure, I have already recieved an email and a call from the CEO's and the UK MDs office taking my details to check through what is going on. May have more news later today.

I have been in dialogue with the CEO's office, as you mention its on the priorty list and it seems its a parts issue. They have agreed to supply me with a suitable vehicle via delear noting my disatisfaction and also as they can't tell me when the car actually would be ready, lets see what is offered, I have asked for a suitable equilavent!

I bet if your name ended in Beckham, the car would be on your drive now!!!
