2014.5 prices

Just saw this. Tough to justify the SDV8 premium given the headline performances vs SDV6.
Likewise Hybrid same price than SC and SDV8, makes a RRS with few options dangerously close to £90k Shocked

Massage seats with articulated backrest are £1000 extra on AB.
Parallel Park / Park Exit / Perpendicular Park / 360 degree Park Distance Control (Extended Park Assist) £900
InControl & Secure - 1 Year Package (Telematics) Emergency Call, Breakdown Call, InControl Remote App plus Stolen Vehicle Tracking (1 year subscription) £995

Production Date: 16-Dec-13

3.0 SDV6
HSE £59,995.00
HSE Dynamic £64,995.00
Autobiography Dynamic £74,995.00
3.0 SDV6 HEV
Autobiography Dynamic £81,550.00
4.4 SDV8
Autobiography Dynamic £81,550.00
5.0 V8 S/C
Autobiography Dynamic £81,550.00

Andorra 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Fuji White

Hi CPD.... been checking for prices every couple of days........Where was this published ?
So the V8 and hybrid are only available in AB....

The performance diff 0 to 60 is actually about 0.5 of sec for the V8 and hybrid over the V6... as the figures on the LR website were for 0 to 62mph...... and the extra torque is a consideration too....... but then again so is all that extra weight on the V8.....
Could be the Hybrid is the way to go
FOR :All the power and torque less weight with the better mileage and lower emissions
AGAINST: a little less growl ....... but as you say 90k for either RRS.... steamy!! Shocked
Decisions decisions.... 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's

Strewth! I was thinking about swapping my new SDV6 ATB in Sept/Oct 14 for a SDV8, but not for the same price as the petrol or the hybrid!
I love V8s, but I really don't see LR selling any SDV8s at that price!

Yup I think LR may have got their pricing a little tits up !!!

Hey Andman,

Dealer sent me the above prices as I had given up hope of a website update. Both SDV8 and Hybrid only available as AB in the UK. Pricing is getting a touch loco, I mean a FFRR SDV8 AB is £94k...
Appreciate Hyrid has some +ve too but read when they launched it that expectations were about5% of sales, makes sense given premium.
For me SDV8 is no brainer in FFRR but difficult to justify vs SDV6 in RRS

Thanks CPD......
Couldn´t agree more......
I just couldn´t justify the SDV8 RRS ... its just too close to call over the SDV6 whereas it´s a significant difference in the FF
Guess it´s the same for the hybrid... but i´m tempted...... (just to be in the 5% group Laughing )
so at least i´m down to a choice of two.. getting bored now.... just want to get my order in.. Whistle 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's

That InControl & Secure... Is that £995 for a 1 year subscription, if so, it's insane.

I'm surprised the SDV8 doesn't offer a clearer performance benefit; I suppose it will be the slowest depreciating of the three engine options. Hybrid sounds attractive but a lot of extra weight and complexity, maintenance worries will take their toll on resale. The petrol is going to see you (me) taking a bath no matter what.

Not sure I see the benefit of all these parking aids; if you can't park it, maybe you shouldn't be driving it. That said, I am going for surround cameras.

What are articulated backrests and while we're at it, what's the option for sun-visors I see in the options list? Mark

Hey Mark_N,

THe £995 gets you a tracker plus the various connectivity services. Don't get me wrong, still extortionate but then again Porsche does charge £995 for their tracker...So pricey but not completely ridiculous. £1395 with 3yr sub, think I pay tracker £150/yr. LR premium
Emergency Call, Breakdown Call, InControl Remote App plus Stolen Vehicle Tracking (1 year subscription)
Articulated upper back rest re now available both for FFRR and RRS. top part of the back rest can be moved so better fit, BMW had that on their comfort seats if you are familiar, don't drive BMWs but have seen them.
Think Park assist is gimmick but the 360 assist might be a good addition to the poor resolution surround cameras.
Sun visors: had asked dealer previously some sort of 2 part/extendable sun visor, given how blessed we are with year round sunshine, clearly a must have option in the UK Laughing
