iPhone 5s - Bluetooth is very bassy and distorted

Hi all. I have a Range Rover Sport 06, with an updated Bluetooth module. It was working fine with my iPhone 4. I've just got a 5s, the phone pairs fine, but conversations seem overly bassy, causing the speakers to muffle and pop on certain words a callers says.

Before I contact apple, does anyone have any ideas what it might be/cure Range Rover Sport SVR - Santorini Black
