Hi npinks, spoke to Pete at BAS and he supplies the tuned files for the new car for £150 or £160 plus vat, (couldn't hear him very clearly) both purchasers are aware they need to pay for tuned files from Pete. Thumbs Up MY16 AUTOBIOGRAPHY Indus silver with some toys

Hi Francesco,
you can contact Pete by email, there is no need to send the unit to him, I cleared all the files off the unit before sending. I paid by card but I am sure there will be other ways to pay him.
Pete is a really helpful guy and it is an easy process to add or remove the tuned files once it is set up,

... little question!
Pete is able to rule out the EGR valve, into same new map?

Anyway, what would I ask him? Example: less consumption, more torque?

I would prefer to improve the delivery at low speeds and to change gears before.

Thanks a lot.
Francesco.

Hi Francesco, not sure what you are asking about the EGR valve?

Having spoken to Pete when I had mine done he is not trying to wring every inch of power from the engine. He is more for a smooth reliable power delivery across a wider rev range and therefore a reliable set up. The problem with the mpg is that you tend to use a heavy right foot cos it sounds and feels great and therefore don't get the extra fuel economy. Im sure he will do what you want within reason. MY16 AUTOBIOGRAPHY Indus silver with some toys
