Just had confirmation that my car has been built today (on time with Pano Roof) and will be ready for collection at some point next week. I've been waiting for something to go wrong but so far so good (fingers crossed)...

The only thing I'm nervous of is that I originally ordered a HSE with 22" Wheels and took these off as I changed the order to Dynamic figuring I'd rather have a better car with 'lesser' wheels. The diamond turned are OK but I really do like the 22's...

Hopefully I'll learn to love them but if not I suppose I can upgrade and offset any cost against my set of wheels, better to have an easy change of wheel than be stuck with the wrong car and regret that!

I shouldn't worry. I ordered mine with the standard 20" and bought some new Style 6 22" off ebay for £1700 including tyres. 2013 New Range Rover Sport HSE SDV6

I assume it's the Style 6 22" you were interested in on the HSE. If I was going for 22", I would have those, I don't like the look of the Style 17 even though they are only available on the Autobiography Dynamic as a chargeable option. Exclusive maybe but the spoke arrangement is weird.

Still, £1200 seems a lot for an extra inch. Presumably, some of the extra cost is down to the tyres, not just the rims? Mark

Yes it was style 6 - I actually prefer the Diamond Turn 'look' as the 22" Style 6 will be a lot brighter but far prefer the Style 6 Design - agreed on the Autobiography specific wheel!

Surprised to learn that Ebay is commanding a similar price of both my Dynamic wheels and Style 6 so give or take a few £100's I have the option of changing.

If I ever did - how do you know what you are buying is 100% genuine Land Rover product from Ebay? 2017 MY - Dynamic, same again!

Damn, oh how I envy you right now I've been thinking about taking my november slot back, but I do want the pano roof (I added that, among other things, and changed to a 14.5 order), so it's not really an option.

I've just seen that you have a black on black on order. The demo car I tested was like that too, looked awesome (it had the diamond turned 21" wheels to, a great fit imho)

I have a detailer booked in for Friday 18th to give it a protection detail - dealer has assured me I don't need to cancel this

I literally spend every evening searching youtube for new videos of the car... I actually sold my 2011 HSE in May and decided to go public transport for the summer (we have a train station within 10mins) - it was OK to begin with and I've been hiring a car every weekend, but I am most definitely ready for a car again!! Glkas I did as achieved £42k from a dealer - pretty sure that may be closer to £35k today

Such a familiar story, I check youtube daily for new vids too After that it's google time to check for updates on production and 14.5 updates (still little known about these).

The interior was ebony/lunar indeed. I don't think I have pics of that (edit: just checked, nothing, I'm afraid). I did find it a bit dark, though, there's not a big contrast between the lunar and the ebony. That's why I went for the Ebony/Tan combination with ebony ceiling (first idea was ebony/cirrus, but I found the ebony/tan added a bit more class imho).

And indeed, an all black car, shiny all over, is hard to beat I have some time left to change my order, we'll see...

Funny.... I love the style 17..... gives the car a real meaty chunky.... stealthy look ...

The standard style 15's on the dynamic with the diamond turn are beautiful...... and are an expensive option on all other variants....

With regard to EBAY...... you can buy safely..... BUT .... there are a lot of scams and copies.......
So ..... I personally.. would ONLY buy from someone who has massive feedback close to 100% positive.....There are plenty of RR specialists and companies like Overfinch... Khan even official dealers who you are safe with... but there are also plenty of specialist alloy wheel dealers.......
Ask for a picture of the inside original stamps on the wheels
Ask the question are they genuine RR wheels so that you have it in correspondence....
Lastly... at all costs ONLY pay by paypal and not bank transfer... and if they prove to be fake you will get a refund....

Is go and buy G techniq liquid crystal .....window protector.... or the C1 crystal lacquer......
Its amazing stuff... I applied it and it worked brilliantly for a year..... didn't even need to use my windscreen wipers.....

Already purchased in preparation! (think I may have read about it here - not sure).

Also bought some poorboys wax and wheel wax and a few other bits to keep on top of the car after it's first protection.

I've never used a detailer before but this guy comes highly recommended and a lot cheaper than the dealer would (or would not) do it for..

Not keen on an ebay purchase but staring at photo's all day since Jan has been doing my head in! I'm sure I'll love the Dynamic wheels when I get the physical car. Cheers for the advice. 2017 MY - Dynamic, same again!
