It's a persecution scooter, I'm thinking about getting a trailer as it's ok putting it on the roof when the mrs is there to give me a hand but on my own, the roofs to high even in access, there are some good ones about but they all seem to be around the £1000 mark.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

I know what you mean - I stand on tyre to do rear strap and door cill/plates to do front but makes a mess. Lifting also kills my back but as I never kayak solo for safety always 2 for lifting - when I can get anyone to join me |

Chilly - just to check, I have Whispbars also purchased for the RRS (2010) and had initially thought you needed original LR roof rails onto which the bars fitted. However, the fitting instructions here http://www.roofbox.co.uk/fitting/whispbar/PRK436.pdf ...would indicate I dont need additional rails and that the Whispbars simply screw into the guttering already on the car roof. This mirrors your experience, but would really appreciate any further confirmation/thoughts.
