those towing electric connectors look a great piece of kit, save popping the bonnet for the fast plug under there

Will be buying one when the new cars ordered as the electrics will be 13 pin then

I looked into the idea of keeping the sport in garage during winter when I had the FL1 but reading the small print I thought we're supposed to disconnect the battery when using any form of charger to protect the sensitive systems so abandoned the idea and just made sure to run it occasionally Confused

I was also advised by a neighbour (marine engineer) that he kept his motorbikes topped up over winter and found the batteries did not last long Sad Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

That's good news - I wish I'd known this before but will look into buying one now as I may be using my sport less over winter and would like piece of mind - last thing I need is a flat battery and no emergency key access because I park tight to wall Thumbs Up Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

I am signing up but would appreciate some advice Bow down

Ctek recommend 7.0 for SUV but many have signed up for 5.0 - I tend to leave RRS in garage all week and use mainly weekends but may be less in winter. So as I understand it - the lower the rating the longer it takes to charge therefore my case would suit the lower rated unit Confused Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW
