Hi guys,

I have been thinking about the new RRS, and wondered if there is much difference between ebony and lunar interior?

Any advice would be much appreciated.  Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more...

I collected my Lunar/Ebony 2 tone Sport yesterday. It looks great although coming from my Ivory L405 it is quite dark inside, even with the panoramic roof and cirrus headlining.

I must admit, if I was choosing again, I've have the Ivory and Ebony interior (just like the car the dealer collected me from the train station in dammit!). Then you have the practicality of dark seats with the Ivory to not make the interior too dark.

Dickie - get some pictures up  2017 MY - Dynamic, same again!

2016 MY - Dynamic - same spec again all round, engine a noticeable improvement

2015 HSE Dynamic - same spec as the last plus Meridian, Full Size Spare & InControl Apps

HSE Dynamic 2014:
Ebony / Lunar, Heated Mirrors, Privacy Glass, Heated Steering Wheel, Red Callipers, Interior Mood Lighting, Ebony Headlining, Panoramic Roof, Electric Towbar, Centre Console Fridge.

Previously: 2011 RRS, Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Audi S5 Cab, RRS, Audi S4 Cab.

I think there is although ....they are both quite dark....
One is black..... one is dark grey / nearly gun metal.....
If you´re set on a dark colour.... it´s also very dependent on your outside colour choice.......
Between the two I would go Lunar....



I agree with Dickie absolutely... although it may pain him for me to say so with his new car order......

The Ebony / ivory option is fantastic...... brightens up the car no end... Is a great contrast ...and allows you the freedom of not having to worry about the seats getting dirty.....

I have had the most horrific spills on my Ebony.....( take away indian orange oil etc) and they still look as good as new... not a mark.... although I have to say they did go fluorescent at night for a couple weeks after

The difference between ebony and lunar colour is far better highlighted in the online brochure than on the configutator
