United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black
Sell RRS

purchased a RRS HSE Black on a 13.5 2013 plate, put down £15k deposit ona PCP, at £619 a month and a final payment of approx £22k after three years. PCP balance was approx £39300.00 and made two payments so down to approx £38k at moment so looking at figures over £38k to get my deposit back

due to change of circumstances what will i expect to receive for it now, 1600 miles on clock, privacy glass, side steps, ebony headlining as extras. Could i contact my dealer and request a buy back and negotiate on a freelander 2 (looking at Dynamic) for a lower monthly payment

i know I could sell it provately settle the finance and go on from there 2013 13.5 MY HSE BLACK with privacy glass, vision assist pack, side steps and ebony headlining

Scotland 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 SE Santorini Black

Sorry to hear of your change of circumstances, but it doesn't bode well! There are loads of pre registered cars with zero miles for low fifties just now, I suspect even with a buy back from the dealer you will probably be offered high forties. If you are swapping for a freelander, then they might come up with a decent compromise
Hope it works out

We would certainly be interested in it, and we have some Dynamic Freelanders.

Would you like to send me an email jeremy.jackson@hadleygreen.co.uk and we can have a look at what we can do for you! Wink

Sorry to read this Skelly - have been there and know from experience you will probably take a big hit Sad

Ring some dealers, Look on Webuyanycar, Ebay, Autotrader, Parkers, WhatCar, etc to get an idea of value Thumbs Up

Hopefully Jeremy can sort you out or someone on here might be interested in a private sale - it is a very desirable car IMHO - Good luck Bow down Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

after months of delibaration going to take the decision of getting rid of the RRS

going for an Audi A5 2.0 black edition 225PS if the figures are okay

I am currently on a personal PCP plan, are there any restrictions in paying this off early (5 months after I started it in April 2013). Going to either sell it privately or see if i can PX it with Audi 2013 13.5 MY HSE BLACK with privacy glass, vision assist pack, side steps and ebony headlining

You'll need to check the agreement, but I would imagine it's just a case of getting a settlement figure and then paying that off - either by selling privately or by trading in and letting the Audi garage clear the finance.

Trading it in against Audi will probably be the easiest, but you might lose a few £'s in the deal, but for the hassle factor it could be worth it. Phone the finance company and get the settlement figure and then see what Audi are offering, that way you know how much you have to play with into the new Audi Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

after 6 months of RRS ownership im jumping ship to Audi, ordered an A5 Sportback 2.0 TFSI quattro, s tronic 225 PS with all the toys and extras, delivery scedhuled for December.

not been impressed with the whole driving expierence with the RRS, first diesel I have had and overall thought it would have been a lot smoother and quieter than it is

took a hit on the RRS Black 2013.5 but over the three years it will work out better for me mainly in running costs 2013 13.5 MY HSE BLACK with privacy glass, vision assist pack, side steps and ebony headlining

You know, the "hit" you have or will take on the RRS and (although I don't know exact UK car running costs) the differential running costs between a 2.0 lit Audi and your RRS will not be a huge saving for you in my view. Essentially, what you have done is capitalised your "hit" by trading it against and leasing or financing the Audi. That's fine but you will havevprobably slightly over capitalised the Audi so it might take you 5 years to get out even on the amortisation schedule.

The RRS is obviously not for you but you have gone for a diverse choice. Good luck with it. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

I've had several diesels and the RRS is smoother and more quiet than any of them. Compared to a decent petrol, sure, it's still obviously a diesel at times but really the clatter and vibration one expects from a diesel just isn't there. Even from the outside it doesn't sound like a diesel - albeit mine is the TDV8 but even the TDV6s I've seen haven't sounded like a typical diesel.

Anyway, it's a bit moot now. Good luck with the new car Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

As long as your happy then thats all that counts my friend.

On a side note, i definately would not say the RRS is quiet on the engine noise side. I run a TDV6, mate runs a TDV8 and we have both commented on how previous diesels we have owned have been quieter. 2007 TDV6 HSE
