Wales 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange
Fault message - what does this mean ?

'Suspension will raise when system cooled'

what part is actual getting hot, the pump ? This happens when I try to raise the suspension. If I lower it, I can't get it to raise again until it's had time to cool down  RR Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange 4.2 V8 First edition

Prefer RR Vouge S/C but they don't do Orange !

Yes its your compressor that has got to hot and when it cools down it will start to pump again, this happens if you use a few times one after the other.

thanks for that - just what I thought, and the pump is just out of Bearmach warranty !!

Would this also bring up a 'Reduced Engine Performance' message too ?  RR Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange 4.2 V8 First edition

I had this problem last weekend when my RRS went into limp mode, because it was on a fast A road it was a case of stop engine ,start up and go. only place to pull off for safety was a Pub Car park three miles on so about 15 stop starts later we got there with a sigh of relief. waited for AA to take us home then on to dealership .been in there since monday got it back today, could find no faults whatsoever But I told them about the "suspension will raise when cooled" on my screen, so should they have known that one and renewed it
The car is still under warrenty.

Yes because that fault is normally the compressor on its way out..and struggling to cope.there should also have been a error code stored.
