Please help, i have recently experienced a problem with the radio it can be in use either on the phone, cd or radio and then you will here a sharp click and it all goes off and then 4-10 secs later comes back on? When this occurs on hands free you feel the call has been lost, however after the 4-10 secs they are still there unaware of this. Is this a fuse of some sort????

I have the same issue mate, there's another thread on here about audio blanking on 2013 RRS - some members pointed out it might be 4G interference, You're not the only person suffering this!

Thanks mate, i have just seen a thread lower down that seems to have the same issues. I hope this appears as a reply and not a new thread!! Its really annoying, i have had no issues up and till last couple of weeks. Any thoughts on my Traffic Announcements sat nav!!! RRS

Sounds like your Traffic Announcement issue can be fixed by turning off Traffic Announcements. Not sure how to do it without reading the manual. Used to be a button called INFO on the dash on my previous 2010 RRS If I remember correctly!?

Info is on the dashboard, next to the 'mode' knob, to the right of the clock.......assuming you have a facelift MY10 car  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

That's the one! From memory the only 'knob' I remembered in my Sport was the one driving!!

I'm new to the forum so thought I'd post my first reply on this issue. I've currently got and 11plate RRS (ordered a new RRS HSE Dynamic last month) and I've also suffered from the same issue. It only started from last Wednesday and funnily enough that was the day 4g was launched in my area. I travel a fair bit for my job and it happened again this morning when I travelled away from home and stopped when away from the area 4g is available.

I've tried on both DAB and normal FM and it happened on both. Will be going back to the dealer to see if they can do anything.

I've got exactly the same problem on my MY2012 RRS. Thought it might be a problem with the speaker wiring but having read a number of others having the same problem I guess it must be something else. 4G sounds a reasonable suspect. If the dealer comes up with a fix, please let us all know. Thanks.

Don't know if I should be happy that it's not just me! This started happening over the past week and today was driving me crazy! I read on another post that it might have something to do with the DVB tuner on the TV and by setting it to US stops it happening (means you can't watch TV but I don't watch it much anyway!). Will try this and see how I get on. If it's the 4G signal then I'm probably ! 3.0 SDV6 HSE Dynamic, Corris Grey with contrast Santorini Black Panoramic Roof, lunar interior, privacy glass, upgraded Meridian system, cooled 18 way front seats, heated steering wheel, adaptive xenons, large screen wash bottle.

Gone: 3.0 TDV6 HSE, Santorini Black, Ivory/Lunar interior, grand black lacquer finish, HK Logic 7.1 Surround, Privacy Glass, Adaptive Xenons, heated steering wheel.

Gone: Jaguar XF Luxury, Pearl Grey, Dove Interior

This is exactly the problem that I started getting on my RRS last week and it is driving me nuts! I joined the forum to see if there was a solution so I am hopeful that someone can find an answer.
