Yes, the engine is the Td rather than Sd, the spec sheets claim the Sd is 0.2 quicker has 40 more Hp and the same 600nm of torque , AFAIK , you can get the 50/50 torque split on the off road pack but not the dynamic pack ( don't have that on mine so don't know what I am missing!) the last time I species one on the website, the price came out at £56k but would think the HSE would be closer to £62-63 once a few options are ticked. Purchase price is not really an issue, I just don't like giving the tax man more than I absolutely have to!

I have done this Cod

SE spec'd up to look like an HSE (wheels, some trim and s/steel add ons, plus a tow bar) £56k (I quite like the SE Red)

HSE with tow bar and a few (you'd consider standard HSE but apparently not) options £65k (would be white, as I'm not keen on the chilly)

So another £11k

I didn't know about the Se getting the TD engine, but with the 8 speed box I'm not 100% sure the gap between SD and TD would feel so great as the outgoing model. RRS gone

Dave, it doesn't make financial sense running a RRS as a company car no matter what the spec. Hence why i don't. JF is also finding it a hard pill to swallow.

Interesting thread as I recently purchased a 13 plate HSE Black SDV6 which I got a very nice deal as Mr Vardy in Aberdeen had a showroom full of per reg ones.

As I was bored at work yesterday I went on to the website build your own section and selected the HSE Dynamic base model then specced it up to include all the toys I have on mine, there a are few minor differences in what you can have etc but nothing majorly different. The result ? price of vehicle came out a tad over £73k ! Just to get to 60 a bit quicker and save a few gallons of fuel.

Would I have one ? if the wife would let me, hell yes, new and shiny! want it!

btw as a relative newcomer I'm not sure about the exact model year designations, whether its 13 or 13.5 as I have seen on other threads, if someone could give a brief explanation of the differences it would be most appreciated. 2017 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography Santorini Black

oh, i know that!!

thats probably why my business parter drives an Evoque!! it has not quite come to changing to a 320d Beemer, but i think i pay about £6k a year in personal tax for it - i could lower it by a couple of thousand if i wanted/had to, but would i be happy? probably not. and i dont have to worry about where the money for the next set of tyres/servicing/ damage etc,etc.

All I can say is that I was given a set of data sheets for the MY13.5 Black Edition by my dealer!!!

The only real change was the launch of the black edition...it really only changed in removing hse changing it to black ed adding split screen and a few other minor things, it wasnt a .5 edition

Unfortunately I am in the south of France at the moment in my MY13.5 HSE Black Edition and so cannot scan the LR info in for the car, but do take my word it does say 13.5 and lists the addition to the MY13 HSE.

From what I can remember it is the upgraded stereo, remote heating, full leather, alloy upgrade, maybe something else?
