I ordered a new RRS back in about June and even spec'd it up then, even though that was simply on paper and nothing formal.

I need the 5+2 seating and the supplying dealer tells me that 5+2 seating isn't being manufactured until January at the earliest. This is nothing to do with my place in the queue simply that you can't get a 5+2 seating option until that date at the earliest.

Has anybody else heard this? I'm a bit annoyed that I still can't get a build slot because I could be tempted to order sooner and forego the 5+2 seating option.

Thoughts?

I do too but I'm already aware of the delays where that's concerned.

The question is whether anybody else has heard of a delay regarding the 5+2 seating?

I thought the 5 + 2 seating was always Jan onwards, I guess it depends whether you took that to be delivery or build date?  2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

I'm not sure it's chaos. It's mostly impatient customers and too positive sales people. And there's nothing like a new product and huge back logs and orders to help propel a story/myth and keep residuals high too.

Mostly it's all positive for the new RRS 2014.

My car has 5+2 and is in build 18th September. Originally advised Jan build but then a few weeks back advised September build. On order Corris Grey New HSE 5+2 with Santorini contrast roof , ebony/cirrus interior and panoramic roof.
