Parts - where from?

Hi,

Car failed MOT on a couple of items so need new wheel hub and lower suspension arms. As title says where's the best place to get these items? Looked on the forum sponsors web sites and there seems to be a significant price difference on these items, would there be any reason for this?

Scott

Thanks Mikey

Do you know why the other site sponsor is £90 cheaper for the same parts?

Are their parts a lesser quality?

I wonder if they have quoted for D3 arms. The RRS arms are £47 more than the D3 arms each, which is £90 for the pair...

Physically the same, and will fit, but the bushes are different/softer than the RRS arms

Allmakes Arms are cheaper but I wish to stick to the 2 year warranty that we offer, I have many repeat LR specialist customers for my arms!
Front Hub/Wheel bearing - Also sticking to the OE levels here, the cheaper ones I have now been offered as low as £17 plus VAT! Why? is all I can say. (My £17 supplier says he sells then by the pallet to Internet LR specialists....Scary!

What we do is as cheap as it can be without buying "cheaper" products. Paul Redding

Thanks for the order.

Just had this PM from a Disco3 owner in the last few minutes, I thought I would post it (with a couple of things blanked) as it is relevant.

"Steve,

Need a wheel bearing !!!!

Had 2 ******** ones on the front near side and come to the conclusion they are c##p !

I think I'm due £30 deposit on the calipers, if I order a timken wheel bearing just now can you make the adjustments ?

Easiest way to do it, for me to call you ?

Cheers, "

As I said chaps there is some cheap stuff out there but be careful. Paul Redding

There are a number of well known land rover parts outfits all that sell sport parts.

No idea if they are cheaper though Mike
