Evoque 9 speed box

OK.........I know that this is not the Evoque forum but can anyone answer a question regarding the coming 9 speed auto box?

Will it be the case that once the MY14 run is commenced the only auto box that will be available in a new car is the 9 speed?

I have been told this morning that the 9 speed is a limited run aimed at company car drivers, which does not tally with what I have heard previously.
