Side steps on the new RRS MY14

Hi, contemplating changing my 2012 RRS HSE and going for a new model sport. I normally like the side steps, but have not seen any pictures of them fitted to the new Sport, if anyone has any, I would be grateful if you can post them. Thumbs Up

There is a photo of the deployable side steps in exterior styling section of the configurator.

Hello, I have been reading alll the comments on this page for some time and it has been a great help. I placed an order for the HSE Dynamic with a few goodies on the 1st of August This will be my first JLR vehicle, and I have ordered side steps after seeing them on the showroom vehicle, they are very strong and dont look too bad at all Hopefully I have managed to attach a photo, as this is my first posting Smile

Hi Andman, glad you can see them..... My reasoning was because of children and elerly parents, and they do feel very strong. Dont expect to see the actual car until around June next year....Plenty of time to worry about the cost Shocked and read plenty more forum comments......... Andrew

Hi Andrew.... Iīve got them on my 12 and they are indispensable .... and youīre spot on with ,,,,,,,the kids... elderly... but not to forget women wearing skirts ..... tight jeans...or high heels..... and yes they are immensely strong.........

Just to let you know.for next year.... after 6 winter months the steel gets quite grubby discoloured and tarnished from all the salt abuse etc... and they donīt clean up with a quick wash........ go buy some Autosol.......5 mins on.... 5 mins off... and they will be back to shiny brand new....

If I order the new RRS... they will be one of the first things on the list.... Iīm on the fence at the moment and may order the FFRR in which case itīll have to be the auto deployable as I don.t think the steps sit well on the FF 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's

Hi andman Thanks for the info.... Yes i too thought about the FFRR after the price of the RRS with a few goodies was very near the FFRR. For me totally a personal thing that the RRS will suit my needs. As I say this is my 1st JLR vehicle, my loyalty for the last 15 years has been V***O...... so this is a big shift for me, hope ita a good one Smile Thanks....
