Seat arm rest

Hi all
The seat arm rest on my 2010 seems to have been bent by previous owner and is rubbing against the centre console box when I open the lid.
I can bend it in but it doesn't stay. Guess its had 3 yrs of a larger person getting in and leaning against it.

Anyone else had it and cured??
Mindful not to bend it too much in case the thing snaps off.
