Thinking of a 5.0 S/C

Offspring no. 2 starts uni next week so it looks like I've got another 4 years of the 5 hour trek to St Andrews. SWMBO isnt too keen on the 911 for long journeys and my TDV8 is now 6 years old so Im thinking about chopping them both in for an SC. I've been looking at a few recently and wondered apart from the Terrain Response buttons and minor exterior cosmetic differences what changed between MY11 and 12 ??

Arranging a test drive is proving tricky too - my local dealers haven't any in and won't bring any in stock elsewhere to Leeds.

Cheers

PS. Anyone fancy a 911 ?? Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

Most significant difference I'd say is that MY12 cars also got the electric boot, asthtically, they also got the silver strip across the boot.
Behind the scenes is quite different too I understand, eg upgraded sat nav and better media system (you can bluetooth stream music Cool Thumbs Up

If it was a diseasel you were looking at, MY12 also got the 8 speed, but on the S/C the 6 speed 'stick' lever still remained.

find it strange Farnells don't have one between the 3 branches, they seem to like the RRSport in none standard form and put body kits and wheels on them

Looking on the used car locator they say they have a white one at Leeds

then a Hatfields Hull have one, but then your down Coventry

Thanks Beany - really useful link.

Given mine is MY08 I think I'd be quote happy with MY11, especially as there looks to be a £3k premium for the privilege of MY12. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

I know we are a a million miles away from you, but we run a RRS SC Autobiogrraphy (13my old shape) if you wanted a test drive or were interested in going slightly newer. Although it is 13my it will drive the same as a 12my.

The offer is there if you fancy a trip down the M1.

Wales 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange

don't take a test drive until you can definitely buy it - because after a drive , you WILL want to buy it !  RR Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange 4.2 V8 First edition

Prefer RR Vouge S/C but they don't do Orange !

Cheers James - if we can coincide it with a family trip soon I'll give you a call.

B3EEE - sound advice. It's all subject to selling the 911 so I'm looking into that this week before I drive the S/C Thumbs Up FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy
