Yes, its 7 years or 105000 miles, whichever comes first. In your case its obviously 7 years. Don't hang around getting them changed either, there has been quite a few ropy looking timing belts that have been changed. I think Disco mikey has seen a few of these recently.

If in doubt about the history of the cambelt, better safe than sorry. A few hundred quid for a belt change, versus 10k for a new engine

Thanks guys, I'll get it booked in. A local landrover specialist has quoted £240 inc vat for the standard service and an extra £550 for the belt change. Does this sound about right? |

A bit pricey for the belts IMHO. I would be looking to pay around £350 inc VAT from an indy, to have both belts replaced |

Best price I could get was £751 for the belts and a service. The highest price was £1,100 - all from indys. |
