I'm new here and first like to say hello to everyone

I myself own a 996 turbo but bought a RR sport hst for the missus as its her dream car lol

The car has developed a fault when steering is turned it's got alot of play like loose feel if turned left or right I won't turn wheel for first few mm and then wheels will turn its quite dangerous and with my 2 year old been in the the car had to hire the missus a car any help would be great as don't want to go blind into a garage and have my wallet snatched

It could be anything from a loose pinch bolt (unlikely) to a warn colume U/J to warn trac rod ends, has it happened suddenly or over time ? Check tyre pressures are the wheel nuts tight....
