I wouldn't have thought a strut brace would make any difference to the RRS. Somebody once told me that it ws originally designed as a monocoque body but at the last minute they decided to add a seperate chassis so It has a very stiff body on top of a very stiff ladder chassis (hence why it weighs so much) so i wouldn't have thought you would get much flexing??

Indeed so. The drivetrain and suspension are all fitted to a ladder chassis, the body is a separate monocoque bolted to that chassis.
