ARC bleed procedure

this document ARC Overview says that for fault C1B0719, check the directional control valve II (DCV2).

further down, it recommends carrying out the manual bleed procedure if there is high resistance in the DCV2 circuit.

I had this DCV2 replaced but the ARC bleed procedure that was carried out as part of that was vastly different to the one described in that document. the bleed they did involved just the autologic tool. they hooked it up to the OBD port and let it do its thing. the car danced and thats it.

1. what is the difference between the two
2. which bleed procedure should be carried out if the DCV2 is to be replaced?
3. if the full manual bleed procedure should be done, can you create issues by doing the "quick" bleed using the autologic tool such as not bleeding completely or introducing air in the system?

still trying to figure out what is causing the hissing sound that i hear from the area where the dynamic response control module is situated. it's only audible when the car is turning i.e when the arc is engaged 07 TDV8 + BAS map
