Has anyone gone for an aftermarket cat back exhaust system???

I heard a tdv8 (i assume) with an exhausts system on drive past me other day it sounded like thunder, not a boy racer system just down low rumble. Sounded beautiful for a diesel!!!

Can the tdv6 sound like this??

Had anyone gone for it or too chavvy?

Chop the cat out of it, and get rid of the centre silencer.

Will never sound like a V8, but can be made to sound good

I've still not bought one yet so this can be another deciding factor between the tdv6 and tdv8.

I had a custom pipe made from manifold back so i sport cats made. sounds as a V8 should.Just right. V6 would also sound sweet. Mij exhausts. Choice of tailends too.

Would love the v8 charger but can't justify it with the miles I do..

I wouldn't mind trying one of Milltek's system's but i don't think they do a system for the SDV6 with autobiography tail pipes.

Is the sdv6 a better engine over the tdv6 or tdv8??

Been looking at them too but an extra 8-10k over a tdv6.

I don't want to get into a debate with the V8 boys with them saying the TDV8 is best, i'd suggest you go and have a test drive of them all then make your own mind up. SDV6 255 BHP Bucket load of torque, 8 speed gearbox, 30+ mpg. Suits me just fine
