Newbie considering 06 2.7

Hello All
Well the RRS bug seems to have returned ! About 5/6 years ago had a D3, which i sold when i left my job and started my own business.

So circumstances and finances now permit and this is what I'm thinking

Might use it for a bit of gentle off roading
So dont want massive wheels
Prefer grey with black leather, not bothered about nav but would like winter pack
Would like a towbar
Would like one registered before 23 march 06 for cheaper tax
Looking for it to be have been loved and well looked after
Prefer something about 70k miles not 100k
Budget between £13k and £17k
No buying it for performance so happy with the 2.7

Anyone got any advice or know of a suitable car

Well after a long trip to Devon and back today I am the proud owner of a RRS !

Strayed from my original spec and ended up with

Cairns blue HSE with cream leather
One private owner from new, all bills
135k miles
Tow pack, never used keys still strapped on !
Sunroof
Mats and mudflats

Good clean up tomorrow
And a read of the sat Nav manual !!!

It's been 4.5 years since my disco 3 I'd forgotten just how graceful these cars are !
Didn't do badly on diesel either 1/4 of a tank got my 150 miles !

2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Zermatt Silver

hey Riickwelcome to the fold, glad you stuck to your original spec, not!! They get under your skin the Censored .. Sounds lovely, my twopennies worth is a remap, will make a good car better. I reluctantly bought a sport after 8 years in a FF, love them both but sport is a different animal. Takes me back to my youth, sad..........

Cheers

Thanks for all the comments !

got some cleaning done, but no decent pics yet, will try on saturday. Had fun and games with the spare wheel winch, still i'd rather be doing that on my drive than the hard shoulder for my first attempt !

So far, ive ordered a steering wheel from jack at royalsteeringwheels.com, got a quote for some paintwork its had a horrific smart repair to the roof and the paint is peeling about 5cm back from the sunroof !

When i had my discovery 3 i toyed with the idea of a white roof a la defender , i wonder what one would like on a sport ?
I think they do that as an option on the evoque ? Anyone know the story behind the white roofs ???

Also the sub woofer ? Was that an option ? Altering the switch on the stereo mAkes no difference so it must be! Is it just a case of fitting one, i guess the wiring harness is all in place?
