Yes they have arrived...

I was at my local dealer today Stratstone and they were cleaning the cars ready for launch day tomorrow
They will have 2 demonstrators on from tomorrow 1 black and the other in grey, one in the showroom(red) and 1 sold unit in black.

Had a good look at them today and they are stunning, the current model looks very dated already..

Waw! Very nice! I prefer the black, however, with the contrasting elements.

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Picked up my RRS following a service today. There are two new RRS in the showroom so had a bit of a look. First impression is that it looks better in the metal than in photos. Doesn't look nearly so Evoque as I thought it would; in fact it looks very handsome except for the silly fake bonnet vents. I like the standard increased ride height compared to our older versions.

The interior is very nice. Understated and rather like the FFRR. I found that the rear seats have very poor leg room when I had the driver's seat set for my 6ft2 size. I'd expected the longer wheelbase to give limo-like rear leg room but the space appears to have been used in the boot - the boot is very large. The access to the rear seats is better compared to mine - the rear door is longer which is good to see.

Apparently they are booking test drives from Monday. Tempting but then I'd want to buy one and that would lead to "serious discussions" at home Rolling with laughter 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Totally agree - even though I changed my order from HSE with on/off road pack to HSE Dynamic, becuase I figure in a few years people will value the Dynamic above the HSE, even if the HSE is specced up to the same chassis. (i.e. on/off road pack)

Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

Front looks OK. Side view is OK. Profile and stance is nice. But it all seems to go very wrong behind the back wheel. From the back, its bum looks a bit bulbous but from the side it looks pinched. It looks so un RR like to me. Sad. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6
Gone - 2009 Buckingham Blue RRS 2.7 TDV6
Gone - 2010 Alaska White RRS 5.0 V8 Aspirated
Gone - 2017 Chawton White RRS 5.0 V8 Supercharged
Current - 2010 Java Black RRS 5.0 V8 Aspirated
Current- 2024 RRS P400 SE Dynamic

I still see evoque every time they are out - i cant help think is that an evoque or is it a sport oh its a....(insert what it turns out to be).

it does share some clues from the current sport and the FFRR, but its an evoque XL and i think will always be. Mike
