The law has been amended a few times, 2005 and 2007, hence Ady's dealer fitting them. EU legislation means any front impact protection must be EU approved, which will mean the plastic type filled with foam. It is illegal in the EU to manufacture, sell or fit them unless the vehcile is older than the date the legislation came in, which I think covers all Range Rover Sports...

A-bars and Bull bards both banned unless they are plastic...which shocked me to find out most of the plastic version actually improve front crash protection for pedestrians! certainly the Land Rover ones.

Call that a bullbar? Here we call it a nudge bar for little parking protection! Personally, I don't like them as they spoil the look of the car. Some are hideous. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6
