Hello
I had the opportunity to get one a few years back as I love TVR. A rrs is positivly Japanese in build and reliability, compared to a TVR . We had a specialist near and engine rebuilds at 4k plus was fairly common. One mate bought one new, and while showing off the back window blew out.
They are an awsome toy, but dont expect them to be cheap.
Ps I didnt have the balls to buy one in the end, as I wanted it for European tours, and I didnt fancy the view from a recovery wagon.

4k in pounds. But saying that it may be due to been ragged arond, or maybe due to TVR ethos of replace reliability for power Very Happy

Was just thinking the same Mr. Green . A mate of mine is a big TVR fan, had wedges, griffiths, tuscans etc but now owns a minty sagaris and a cerbera 4.5. Spends a fortune keeping them on the road but wouldn't have it any other way

They have their problems but not many cars sound as good as a TVR on full chat!! Shocked

had quite a few work colleagues in the UK that had various TVR models, the other common trait
is that they all got shot of them within the year due to reliability issues Laughing

also it could have been the shock of the company moving to slough as well Whistle no doubt they could
not think of reliability issues coupled with the prospect of their pride and joys getting nicked/vandalised/
car jacked etc Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

No personal Tuscan experience, but an old neighbour had a 5.0 Cerbera, which he spent pretty much every waking hour lying underneath trying to fix one type of problem or another. He seemed to spend the whole year prepping it for the following years trip down to Paris with the family (hilarious to seem 4 cram into it, plus luggage Laughing )

I think if you listened to others experiences you you'd never own one, it's something you need to just bite the bullet on and accept it WILL cost you money and time and that it WILL leave you stranded at the side of the road at some point in your ownership........BUT.......when it works Cool , there's very little out there on 4 wheels that looks/drives/sounds as good.
I will own one at some point (maybe a Sagaris), but it will be a heart purchase, without any involvement of the a head Laughing ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Thanx, yeah I figured they aren't the most reliable of cars, I thnk il give them a miss as not worth what they cost to buy to have them break down all the time it would do my tits in.

Looking at maybe restoring an old Jag now instead maybe? Exclamation Java black 2006

Hey Bean that's a good used about the thread I might do that if anybody else would be interested in seeing how it gets on.
It's in the garage at the moment getting checked over for mot and to see if it's worth spending money on, it seems really solid from what I can see of the underneath tho Java black 2006
