Has anybody had experience or fixed a noisy dashboard, I have a 2010 model and the dashboard has an annoying rattle whilst driving along and seems to be coming from the windscreen area or possibly the cheaper hard plastic panel between the windscreen and the leather dash, it's driving me mad, I'm not sure what it does but it looks like a speaker in the middle of the dash near front screen, but I have removing it but it didn't stop it. It seems that it's doesn't make as much noise if the heating temp is warm and heating set to windscreen,
Any help or info would be helpful.

Are you sure it's not the top glovebox lid? Try unhooking it from the catch and see if the noise stops.

A few of us have this problem. I was looking into possibly using rubber stoppers from a different car but forgot about it

Yes I've got the same.
Not sure if it is temperature related since it seems to be worse in the evening when the car has been sat in the sun or since I had a cracked windscreen replaced. Did you get it fixed yet? SPG482

I have a similar problem with a cracking noise from behind the dash of my 2010 sport which drives me mad to be honest. dont think its a plastic noise as its quite a deep cracking and happens when the body slightly flexes. I recorded it on my iphone and in 90 seconds it cracks around 40 times.
I played it to back to a LR dealer when I went to the new Sport launch and he fell about laughing and asked how the hell can I drive it whilst its doing that.
Its booked in week wednesday whilst the bonkers sat nav which gets you lost all of the time and the hi fi that keeps pausing itself (the only way to un-pause it is to stop the car and lock it which resets its self), is sorted out hopefully as it was all reported to LR whilst in warranty.
