I'm in the market for a RRS. Going to look at one tomorrow, its a 2009 2.7 she. Done lots of reading over the last few days and can anyone give me info an what changed on the 2009 from the earlier year ones. Are the specs the same and are they any different mechanically? By the way its not the facelift 09/10 model.

Nothing really differs on any of the pre-facelift HSE models as far as I'm aware..

Audi A6 Allroad Sport 270 3.0TDI

Subtle differences, mostly function so 2005-2007 is one group and 2007-2010/11 the second. Subtle changes to software and functions and standard spec between the two. That's it 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱

Thanks guys. This issue with failing air compressors, I think I have read on here that the replacement is a better more reliable one, is this replacement fitted to the 2009 from the factory or can I be expecting a bill for this in the future?

I think from memory the part number from per 2007 was superseded so 2008 on had the "better" unit fitted but it doesn't preclude further future failure. These are temperamental things and will go wrong without warning  2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
